New Doha Port:

On 19 June 2007 His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, issued Emiri Decree No. 37, setting forth the creation of one of the world's largest Greenfield port developments. Strategically located south of Doha, the QAR 27 Billion (USD 7.4 Billion) megaproject, which includes a new port, a new base for the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces and the Qatar Economic Zone 3, will span a 26.5 square kilometer area.

 

Salwa Highway

‘Salwa’ refers to a 95 km long highway, which extends from the Industrial Area to Abu Samra on the Saudi border along 81 kilometers and contains four-lane dual carriageway with 11 interchanges, with international specifications of expressway. 
The Qatar Primary Routes Phase 1 Project is a minor initiative for capacity enhancement of the international highway in quantitative terms. It envisages rehabilitation and upgrading of the Salwa Highway.

 

New Laffan Post

The Laffan Refinery 2 (LR2) construction will cost up to QR 5.5 billion. Together with LR1, they will constitute the largest condensate refinery in the world.
